Robin Jones, B.Sc., AACI, P.App.

I was born and raised in Georgetown, Ontario as a first generation Canadian. I moved to Hamilton in 1981 where I attended McMaster University and received my Bachelor of Science degree in physics in 1985.

I moved to Barrie, Ontario in late 1986 where I obtained my real estate license. I sold real estate with Royal LePage for my first few years specializing in commercial and development properties but still keeping active in residential sales.

In 1990, once the recession was upon us I started doing real estate appraisals. I continued selling and still do to this day being a licensed broker with Re/Max Chay Realty Inc. for the past 17 years. At this point in time real estate sales is a small portion of my business but an important component since it allows me to keep familiar with the motivations of buyers and sellers and maintain a rapport with other Realtors who often offer up valuable information regarding to comparable sales. Other Realtors are also my appraisal clients.

I received my AACI designation in August 2001 and began my own company shortly thereafter.
